An increase in activity of sticky white cells within the body are a major cause of the disease and its damaging effects. In 2014 the total market value for MS treatment was US$17.2 billion and is expected to rise to US$20 billion in 2024.

INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulceratic colitis, involves chronic inflammation of all or part of your digestive tract, leading to chronic pain and many socially undesired symptoms, such as constant vomiting and diarrhea. It significantly reduces the patient’s quality of life. Treatments for IBD are very limited, mainly due to extremely poor clinical remission of current therapies.
